FACTS ABOUT REFLECTIVE
Reflective paint will only reflect a part of the heat responsible for the heat transfer into the house, on average just for a few hours on a sunny day when the colour is white! A darker colour will ATTRACT heat not reflect!
FACTS & EFFICIENCY
The amount of reflectiveness in white paint can be up to 95-98%. There is very little difference between cheap and expensive paints when it comes to the efficiency of 'bouncing' the rays back.
Reflective paints in a darker colour (darker than a light Sand colour that is!) will attract heat to the substrate; not reflect anymore. All acrylic paints will break down in our high Australian UV in just a few years, no matter what.
